My hope is that you will simply create a folder - 'Helpful Hints Getting Started Training' - to keep these for reference and to look at when you have a few minutes. What a pleasure to have the Directors in from Australia for the 2nd annual North American ONE Group Conference in late October. For those who couldn't attend, I have summarized below some of the exciting news coming from the company.
It is my goal to bring you resources and ideas, news and more to help you in making a difference for all the people you help and for our environment!

Getting Started:
This issue's tip to growing your business:
Mark down on your calendar, planner or a piece of paper posted in a visible place...at least 2 Conference Calls or Webinars EACH month. Plan to attend and try to have a few questions ready to ask. The more up-to-date and involved you are, the more you'll radiate organics, health & wellbeing and business knowledge to others and the universe...bringing you more organics, health and wellbeing and business!
NEW: Webinars are Web-based presentations combined with a call-in number for you to listen. For now, if you don't have access to the Internet at the time of the call, you can simply call in like a regular conference call. The company will also begin webinars that allow for audio through the internet connection and then you won't have to dial in as well.

Now that the company is publishing news every two weeks, I will keep this section brief. Please carefully review your ONE Group Newsletters to stay up-to-date on products, new tools and all company information. THANKS!
* New tools and marketing materials were launched at the annual Australian ONE Group Conference. A brief description of these were found in the last issue under the "How to Achieve Your Dreams" section, found here:
* New Travel Sizes of products are available and show up in the shopping cart under each category and under 'packs'. These make wonderful 'trial' packs, like the skin care 3-pack and are great for gym bags. All Travel Sizes meet international travel requirements as long as the traveler puts them in 1 clear quart-size bag.
These new items are a great reason to contact your customers -- let them know what's new! Maybe they want to try the skin care but not sure which profile works best? Have them order one or two of the travel size packs to get a good 3-4 weeks+ from each, to see how they like the products and which one they prefer! * Tropicana Body Milk is now available in a new travel size/trial size!! Get them while they're hot. Love that coconut aroma!
MiSpa Party Updates:
The company is organizing a special Fast Start package for new representatives who join with the goal of doing the party plan/mispa party platform. Stay tuned for details on the kit and program early next year...
The home party system is quickly becoming a strategy-of-choice for many representatives and promises to be a very positive and fruitful way to build your customer base and your business. Be sure to study the guides and information in the MiSpa section, get the training DVD and manual and attend the live MiSpa Training Calls.
* Executive Call updates from conf. call on Dec. 16/17, 2008:
1) Over 60 representatives have signed up so far, for the 'Getting to Executive' 12 month training program! Don't be left out, register today. Even if you are already an Executive, doing this program along with your team members is an excellent idea.
2) Two new 'packs' are coming - a 3-pack of Berry Radical and a Berry Radical + In-Liven pack. Watch your in-box for details on discounts/points. Expected availability will be in mid-January or early February.
3) A lovely newsletter for Preferred Customers is finally here. Launching January 7th, 2009.
4) Next year's ONE Group Conferences have been set, with the Australasian one to be held June 13-14 on the Gold Coast and the North American one on October 10-11 in Chicago, Illinois!! All the details are coming in the next few rep newsletters. A one-stop online registration service is being set up to purchase conference registrations, accomodations and more. There will be sponsorship opportunities well worth your effort, from covering registration fees to your hotel ... and even your domestic flight to attend conference.
5) Gift Card promotion going well - so far over 86 sold, mostly in $25 and $50 levels with a few at the $100 and $150 levels. Moving forward, company is looking at electronic gift cards, custom landing pages to guide someone in redeeming their card and other helpful tools.
6) New incentives are being put in place for new Representatives to do a Fast Start, plus more promotion of what's included in membership fees. Looking at a February 2009 launch.

Credit Card Authorization Forms.
To continue to receive your preferred rep discount for being on BP or Autoship, you must have your CCAF in to headquarters. This is Australian law. The form may be faxed or sent regular mail or scanned in and sent via e-mail. I recommend choosing BP, getting the form in to ONE Group and then placing your order manually by the evening of the 23rd of the month, so you don't need to think about your default order! It's an easy task -- ask your sponsor or me for details!

Dear ONEderful team,
It was great to see several of our team members at the North American Conference, just outside of Washington, DC. I really hoped more could attend. So, during the executive meeting on Monday, we discussed this with the directors and they agreed to plan the next conference much sooner and with a lower cost for reps, so... do plan on coming next year if you happened to have missed this one! Details are expected out by early next year.
We heard from several top representatives and outside consultants during the conference in Warrenton, Virginia. Nestled in farm country and overlooking views of nature, ONE Group representatives gathered to learn and share and came away inspired and energized -- in addition to the great information, we also had the delicious and nutritious Berry Radical at tea breaks... WOW... what a lovely treat! We were very alert and invigorated throughout the day.
To help you share this beautiful nutritional, Narelle developed the Berry Radical Fact Sheet (in pdf); ONE Group has given all reps their own website (i.e. www.yourusername.BerryRadical.com) AND I have edited another handout with some testimonials. Ask me for a copy!
MiSpa Ideas from Kathy Lee, Executive Representative
Kathy gave some great suggestions that could be applied to other strategies too. As an herbalist, she likes the idea of people being able to touch, feel and smell products while learning the benefits of some key herbs. That is the main reason she chose the MiSpa format.
Power of ONE
O = open yourself to the freedom of one strategy - commit for a full year; by switching mid-stream, you don't gain momentum. Everything you do should feed or complement that strategy (like streams leading to a river).
-- i.e. make ads or flyers or postcards with a photo of a party, focus on looking for hostesses and party plan business interest, etc.
N = Networking. Multiplies your opportunities and efforts. What can I offer to others?
E = Energy Flows Where Attention Goes! Monitor your results to increase your success.
9 Ideas to grow your business (in this case, to generate bookings and guests for MiSpa parties):
1. Booths - offer gift certificates, have questions on raffle forms (ask me for examples of this!)
2. Local papers - think about parent/mother groups, school papers, groups you already know; make sure your classifieds or display ads are specific to your strategy
3. Office parties - Relax & Unwind ~ book parties from that one.
4. Frequent orderers - invite your regular customers to host, they know the products and already excited about them and can have testimonials or a 'favorite', etc. They benefit with free products.
5. When traveling - have your family, friends or colleagues agree to host.
6. Offer to give Classes - at local health food stroe (i.e. avoiding toxins, reading labels), have a free drawing and lead forms for a "home spa party"
7. Home Holiday Shopping Party - 'everyone comes to shop for gifts and the hostess gets her shopping done for free!'
8. Presentations - offer to do presentations at Parent Education Nights, class or school talks or other places (i.e. stay healty in winter, avoid colds & flus, avoid toxins, etc.)
9. Host Challenge - let hosts know you offer prizes in addition to free products, ie. make a card with space to check off or write down the following: 10 guests, 5 outside orders count towards order and 2 bookings. Can mention to guests who then may want to host.
